The canvas reproduction of Flora di Stabiae captures the beauty of the original fresco found in the Villa Arianna of Stabiae, under the rubble of the eruption that destroyed Pompeii. Today the masterpiece of ancient Rome is preserved at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.

The reproduction captures the beauty of the Goddess Flora portrayed from behind while picking flowers and holding a kalathos, against a bright green background. Flora, the Goddess of spring, flowers and blossoming, was also venerated by the ancient Romans as the protector of women awaiting birth. Her image inspired great painters such as Botticelli, often depicted with garlands of flowers in delicate poses.

The floral details and the female figure, a symbol of fertility, give the work an elegant and historically significant atmosphere.
